Honourable mention in the Cities and Territories of the Future Awards

CP – Comboios de Portugal was awarded an honourable mention in the Mobility and Logistics category at the 4th edition of the Cities and Territories of the Future Awards, promoted by APDC, for its Real-Time Information project, which stands out for its use of technology to improve predictability and the travel experience.

The award recognises the work carried out by CP in creating an innovative platform that provides real-time information on train traffic to passengers and employees. This project improves predictability and the travel experience through the integration of technologies such as IoT, omnichannel services, and the interoperability of onboard systems.

‘This recognition is a clear sign of the value of internal innovation for public service. It is the result of our teams' commitment to finding solutions that improve the lives of our passengers every day,’ said Cláudia Valentim, project manager.

Galp won first prize in the category for massifying the electric vehicle charging network project, reinforcing the importance of sustainable solutions for future mobility.
